The Blackwater Valley Network is a practical partnership between the nine council's in the Valley. It was set up in 1996 so that the councils could promote a co-ordinated approach to land use, transportation, air quality and associated environmental issues across the Valley.

 

The Network in 2002 commission consultants to undertake a study of Blackwater Valley to consider conceptual options for sustaiunable economic growth and the land use implications. The draft Study was published in Spring 2003 and can be viewed through the link in the left hand menu.
